Listening to Black Nevadans

Representation begins by listening carefully, respecting different experiences, and making sure every community has a meaningful voice in the decisions made in Congress.

Black residents I meet have shared concerns about the pressures facing their families and whether their experiences receive equal attention. I do not assume that every person or family has the same priorities. I want to listen, understand, and make sure your voice is included.

Healthcare and Family Well-Being

Affordable healthcare, maternal health, mental health services, sickle cell care, prescription costs, and disparities in access and treatment.

Jobs and Economic Opportunity

Fair wages, stable employment, workforce training, support for Black-owned small businesses, and opportunities to build lasting financial security.

Housing and Education

Affordable housing, fair access to homeownership, strong public schools, career training, and real opportunities for young people.

Public Safety and Equal Treatment

Safe neighborhoods, fair and accountable policing, equal protection under the law, voting rights, and respect for every person’s dignity.
